Ligue 1: Paris regains the lead, results and standings of the 8th day

Spread the love

PSG has regained its leader's seat à the end of the 8th day of the French Ligue 1 championship.

After a day without being the leader, PSG has already reclaimed its throne after its large and deserved victory against Strasbourg on Saturday evening with a score of 4-2. The Parisians took advantage of the draw on Friday evening at the start of Monaco's 8th day against Lille to get back up to par with the Monegasques. Marseille, who thrashed Montpellier away with a score of 5-0, is at third place in the standings, three points behind the leaders.

At the bottom of the table, if things are not going well for Montpellier, it is not better for Le Havre, swept away by Lyon at home with a score of 4-0. In the rest of the results, Lens won against Saint-Etienne, Reims stumbled against the surprising Auxerre team and we will note the draw of Nantes against Nice and Toulouse against Angers.
