C’est dans le secteur d'Estanove que seront posés les derniers rails du tramway.

This is the most complex sector to resolve and probably the last big chunk: the Route de Lavérune construction site in the Chamberte-Estanove districts has been completely disrupted by the arrival of the Line 5 rails: “There we have all the networks to redo, we have a big hydraulic framework on the Lantissargues to do”, notes Claire Rancoule.

“We have large condominiums with impacts on parking lots, part of the pharmacy had to be amputated at the corner of Route de Lavérune and Rue des Chasseurs”, recalls Julie Frêche.

Change of plans

In this sector, a major real estate operation required a change of plans: “It's really the nerve center of line 5 and certainly there, in this neighborhood that is very lively, where we will lay the last rails”, concludes Julie Frêche.
