The last chance for a French medal today, Alice Finot will start the 3000m steeplechase final (F) in a few moments.

In the hammer throw, Canada confirms its supremacy! After Ethan Katzberg's victory in the men's event, Camryn Rodgers won the women's event with a fifth attempt at 76.97m. She finished ahead of American Annette Nneka Echikunwoke and Chinese Jie Zhao who completed the podium.

The selection of the French team for the Olympics

The final selection of the list of athletes participating in the athletics events will be published on July 8, 2024 (May 14 for the marathon). However, some athletes have already achieved the Olympic minimums and are expected to be included in the list, which allows a maximum of three athletes per discipline. 50% of places will be allocated by the minimums, and 50% via the world ranking.
