Montpellier is looking forward to a very different 2025 from the previous one. Between disastrous sporting results and an extra-sporting affair with the Savanier case following the pitiful elimination in the Coupe de France against Le Puy (4-0), MHSC is dreaming of other horizons for the end of the season.

It starts with a difficult trip to Lyon, which has not lost in four home games. For Montpellier, who have zero points away from home, they will have to free themselves up to bring back a result and show a more combative face than the one seen during the seven previous trips.

For this match, Gasset will have to do without Nordin, who has an ankle injury. Savanier is finally starting alongside Ferri and Nzingoula in midfield.
