LIVE. Mont-de-Marsan-ASBH: Béziers cracks at the end of the period and is largely behind at half-time

Au stade André-et-Guy-Boniface de Mont-de-Marsan, Béziers se rend pour conserver sa position sur le podium lors de cette 15e journée de Pro D2, ce vendredi 20 décembre à 19 h 30.

For this last match of the first leg, Béziers can, if they win on the Stade Montois pitch, secure their place among the top three in Pro D2. To win, they will have to ignore the extra-sporting affairs that are still shaking the Hérault club, with Nkinsi's conviction this week and the accusations against coach Pierre Caillet.

On the sporting side, a win in the Landes and Béziers would spend the holidays in third place and as the best away team at the halfway point (with 8 matches played away from home compared to 7 at home). To go for the victory, Béziers will once again rely on a solid defense (2nd best in the championship).

Be careful though with the Landais, who even if they are 10th in Pro D2, have just beaten Biarritz and the leader Grenoble on their Boniface pitch. To avoid this pitfall, the ASBH coach has called on an experienced group for this trip. Tuimaba, who was taken off on a stretcher against Montauban, is absent. Boulassel, Eru, Koen and Abescat leave their starting spots to Gonzalez, Van Bost, Ancely and Pauta, with Benoy dropping back to the second line.
