The Malcolm series has left its mark on several generations of viewers in France and the rest of the world. This hilarious fiction is superbly written and performed. However, it ended almost twenty years ago. However, a return is looming if we are to believe the actor Frankie Muniz who plays Malcolm.

Exploring the destiny of children in adulthood  ?

Questioned by our colleagues from Pedestrian TV did not move away when this subject was been addressed. He underlines thus:

Without giving too much away, as nothing has been confirmed, this could well become a reality. If it has to happen, it will happen soon. But you know, that's also what we've been saying for eight years.

He adds: “The series ended 18 years ago, so it’s crazy that there’s still a lot of interest. I think it would be a lot of fun to dive into this world and see where everyone is as adults, because the possibilities are endless. I would love to explore it. And I know there are ongoing conversations”.

He won't reveal any more For now. This avenue of exploring the destiny of the characters would certainly be positively received by fans. Many indeed feel nostalgia when watching these episodes which were broadcast at length on French TV (The series is now available on Disney+).

Bryan Cranston validates this idea

Note that Frankie Muniz is not the only one to have expressed his opinion on a possible relaunch of the series. Bryan Cranston, who plays the father of the family, explained to ET last January: “That would be fun to explore it now. All these boys who are now adults and have kids of their own, it would be fun to explore that. I'm open to that.”

In June 2023, the actor also specified: < em>“I would say on a scale of 1 to 10, I think we'll do a reunion, movie, show or something. And yes, we worked on story concepts, plots and other things like that.”< /p>

We'll wait to find out more, but this project seems very serious in any case. For your part, what do you think of the idea of relaunching Malcolm ? Don't hesitate to share your point of view in the comments.
