A man in his thirties was arrested and placed in pretrial detention for vandalism and psychological violence against his ex-partner. The events allegedly took place in the young woman's garage in Bézenet, in Allier.

The events allegedly took place during the night of Sunday 26 to Monday 27 January, according to information from La Montagne.

The thirty-year-old allegedly entered his ex-partner's garage in Bézenet, located near Montluçon.

Inside, he allegedly caused damage to the latter's vehicle. Before leaving, he allegedly placed the head of a dead cat on his ex-partner's car.

The young woman immediately filed a complaint. The police were able to identify and arrest the perpetrator. He was taken into custody on sight later.

The man was placed in custody. He will be tried on Thursday, March 13 before the Cher judicial court, for acts of damage to equipment and psychological violence against his ex-wife.
