A man was found dead in a burned shed in Woodstock, southwest New Brunswick, Monday morning.

The fire broke out just before 6:30 a.m. in the tool shed of a Methodist Church cemetery, according to Woodstock Deputy Police Chief Mark Bennett.

About fifteen firefighters responded to the emergency call, but they were unable to enter the shed due to the intensity flames. It took them 45 minutes to put out the fire.

The man's body was later discovered inside. An autopsy will be performed on Tuesday, according to Mark Bennett.

The police are investigating.
