A young man is in critical condition in a Montreal hospital after being stabbed early Tuesday evening in the city center.

The Montreal City Police Service (SPVM) has still not made any arrests in this connection with this event.

The attack would have occurred around 7 p.m. a stone's throw from the&# x27;former Montreal Forum, at the intersection of Boulevard de Maisonneuve Ouest and Avenue Atwater.

The SPVM reports that the victim, a 25-year-old man, was located in the hospital with a significant upper body injury.
