An adventure full of humor

The main good point that emerges from all the tests around &quot ;Mario and Luigi: the epic “brotherly” comes from the humor of the game. The new adventures of the two Italian plumbers promise an even funnier and more intense experience than ;#39;previously" according to the Gameblog test which also salutes a real feeling of progression for the characters and fights which intensify throughout the game and gives it a score of 8/10.

Le Monde also describes these adventures as punctuated by a subtly stupid, gently cartoonish humor, always good child". Journalist Corentin Benoit-Gonin also praises the character animations, but regrets that some fights are too much.

On the ActuGaming side, we are won over with the very nice score of 9/10 and a plethora of compliments around “Mario and Luigi: the brotherly epic”. The narration and humor seem very successful even if the tester notes an ending that drags on too much.

Too many fights and length

On the negative side and less enthusiastic tests, we find in particular Jeuxvideo.com which gives the game the harsh score of 14/20. The tester Charlanmhg believes in particular that the game lacks a real identity visual and that it suffers from a real redundancy and length in its unfolding.

A feeling also shared by the MGG site where Lloyd, the tester, explains that “Mario and Luigi: The Brotherly Epic” is “too long for its own good”. There is also mention of FPS drops and very long loading times which are detrimental to the gaming experience.

Finally, the Presse Citron site also reports a mixed experience with a score of 7/10. The test praises rather successful fights, but also returns to a very generic artistic direction that lacks visual identity.
