En octobre, le parc de jeux en intérieur, rue Marcel-Paul à Alès, a renouvelé une grande partie de ses installations. La structure vise aussi à faire revenir une partie de sa clientèle, moins nombreuse depuis le début de l’inflation, avec une opération tarifaire.

For young people and/or fans of skateboarding, rollerblading and other treetop adventures, there is probably no real need to introduce the Urban Parc. Located on rue Marcel-Paul, a stone's throw from Prés Saint-Jean in Alès, the leisure park transformed an old hangar into a skate park and treetop adventure course a few years ago.

New structures and thoughts on prices

During the fall, the team made a few changes to its facility. “We renewed half of our equipment,” explains Charlie Ruckly, one of the founders. For example: the recent opening of a “fun box”, understand “a high net maze, spread over two floors. Young people enter it, it bounces and it's safe”.

Although group bookings, such as birthdays, are still full, “we have noticed that the arrival of individual clients, such as parents coming with their children, has really suffered a setback since 2022.” Un effect caused by inflation and the new, more home-loving habits that have taken hold since previous lockdowns. “It's a national phenomenon that we've seen in other parks similar to ours, people are going out and having fun differently,” Charlie Ruckly explains. But on wants to show that, despite the gloomy current events, which don't really help, we can still go out, have fun and, above all, play sports. That's also why we support our idea of ​​a third place where activities mix with urban arts.”

A desire that pushes, in order to bring this public back, to reduce a few euros some entrance fees, and on the side of delicacies and drinks.
