Les supporters niçois sont interdits de déplacement à La Mosson, dimanche. Midi Libre – JEAN-MICHEL MART
A ministerial decree prohibits the presence of Nice fans in Montpellier, Sunday, December 15, during the Ligue 1 match between MHSC and OGCN. The Pope's trip to Corsica has something to do with it.
200% Deposit Bonus up to €3,000 180% First Deposit Bonus up to $20,000The parking area of the La Mosson stadium will be empty during the match between Montpellier and Nice, Sunday (3 p.m.). This is due to a ministerial decree, issued on Wednesday, which prohibited the Aiglons' supporters from traveling.
Among the reasons, the Ministry of the Interior lists Côte d'Azur trips “frequently a source of public order disturbances”, “violent behavior” attributed to “certain Montpellier HSC supporters” at home but also “animosity” and “antagonism” between fans of the two clubs. Reasons sufficient to present a “real and serious risk of confrontation”, describes the order.
More unusual, the ministerial order refers to Pope Francis' trip to Corsica on Sunday. Expected in particular in Ajaccio to celebrate a mass, the sovereign pontiff is surrounded by a significant security presence.
“On the day of the meeting, the pope's visit to Corsica will require the implementation of a significant security and supervision presence, leading to the mobilization of the internal security forces of the South defense and security zone in order to reinforce the personnel available in Corsica”, it is written.
