Millau: free workshops for carers offered by the PFR des Cheveux d’Ange

These moments of sharing and relaxation aim to relieve caregivers and allow them to take care of themselves.

The Cheveux d’Ange caregiver support and respite platform is mobilizing to offer customized support to caregivers of elderly people who are losing their autonomy, whether or not they have cognitive disorders.

A true resource center, its mission is to meet the essential needs of caregivers through three essential missions:

• Offer respite to caregivers to prevent isolation and exhaustion.
• Meet the needs of caregivers: information, listening, support, advice, and connection with
the right resources.
• Offer a variety of respite or support services, adapted to both caregivers and the caregiver/care recipient couple.

As part of these missions, several workshops are organized within the Résidence Les Cheveux d’Ange (26 rue Lucien Costes in Millau), as well as other partner locations. These moments of sharing and relaxation aim to relieve caregivers and allow them to take care of themselves:

• Leatherwork workshops: Wednesdays (3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.) and Fridays (2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.) at the École des
Artisans, 4 rue de la Mégisserie, Millau.
• Music therapy workshops: one hour session, Thursdays and Fridays from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
• Sophrology workshops: every other Monday at 6:30 p.m.
