Miss France, a simple superficial beauty contest where young women are treated like cattle? Certainly not. On Saturday December 14, TF1 broadcast the 95th  édition of the competition. Still presented by Jean-Pierre Foucault, this great evening had the honor of having Sylvie Vartan as president of the jury.

A role that the 80-year-old singer takes very seriously. A few hours before the show aired, she spoke on RTL. As usual, she gave a frank opinion. For her, Miss is not absolutely not just an « entertaining and pleasant and non-violent demonstration ».

In addition to speaking, introducing themselves, defending a cause and showing themselves pretty and graceful, the Misses will also have to… dance!
