Missing since January 6, 2025, Caroline Calmel, a 42-year-old mother, has still not been found. While an appeal for witnesses has been launched for a worrying disappearance, the search continues.

It has been ten days since Caroline Calmel, 42, mysteriously disappeared. On January 6, the 42-year-old mother left her home in Rochefort-Samson (Drôme) in the morning and never returned home.

Her phone and bag discovered

On the day of her disappearance, Caroline left in her car, a Volkswagen Polo, which has since been found in the Combe Laval area, in the parking lot of the Saint-Laurent-en-Royans belvedere, about twenty kilometers from her home.

Inside, the police discovered her mobile phone, her handbag and her jacket but no trace of the mother, reports the Dauphiné Libéré.

If they are “collapsed”, his loved ones cling to hope and the absence of a body: “As long as there is “no body, there is hope,” declared Jean-Christophe, the brother of the missing woman who cannot imagine his sister “ending her life without leave a note for his children”.

Their hope also passes by using mediums, as in the Lina or Emile case.

New research planned

New searches will be conducted on January 18 by the missing woman's brother and a “more experienced” group >, in a difficult to access area, particularly at the level of the Combe Laval cliff, the police explained to the Dauphiné Libéré.

Since Caroline Calmel's disappearance, the police have been moving heaven and earth to try to find her. An appeal for witnesses has been launched and a vast search operation has been in place since January 7, including a dog team, drones and a helicopter.
