Test of the restyled Peugeot 508 SW

As with the Peugeot e-2008, it was on the roads of Andalusia, in the south of Spain, that we were able to get behind the wheel of the restyled Peugeot 508 (station wagon version). the end of June. The restyled Peugeot 508 now only offers three finishing levels: Allure, GT and PSE. The color range has also been improved. reduced, now numbering seven, but three new colors are appearing: okenite white, eclipse blue and titanium gray. They are added to selenium and artense grays, elixir red and perla nera black.

The engines of the Peugeot 508 restyled (2023)

There are fewer new features under the hood with the overall maintenance of current engines. It’s a little surprise since we expected it to happen. find the 136 horsepower hybrid gasoline engine seen for example on the Peugeot 3008. This restyled Peugeot 508 ultimately offers four engine choices: the 130 hp 1.5 BlueHDI diesel, two hybrid engine versions rechargeable, one with a power of 180hp – a new feature – the other with 225hp, and finally at the top of the range we find the sports model of the 508PSE with its 360 combined horsepower.

What is the price of the restyled Peugeot 508 (2023)?

With the disappearance of the 1.2 three-cylinder petrol Puretech 130, the diesel engine now constitutes the price entry of the restyled Peugeot 508. The 1.5 BlueHDI 130 four-cylinder range in Allure finish costs 45 900 euros, which constitutes an increase of 2,480 euros compared to the first price of the 2018 version (the 1.2 Puretech 130 gasoline model). To become the owner of one of the two "plug-in hybrid" for the sedan, you have to pay a little more than 50,000 euros. The 180hp version is available at starting from 50,200 euros, or almost 2,000 euros less than the more powerful model (225hp) offered. 52,100,euros without paid options. Finally, to afford the sporty version, the 508 Peugeot Sport Engineered, with its 4-wheel drive and 360 hp under the hood, you have to pay at least 70,650 euros.
