Nice: Shooting leaves two injured, one seriously, Christian Estrosi denounces "narcoterrorism"

Arrested a few kilometers from the attack, the suspect, aged 34-year-old was taken into custody. Another suspect may still be on the run, according to AFP. The area was cordoned off: the police and firefighters intervened.

According to Nice-Matin, the toll is at least two injured, hit in the leg. There are two victims aged 24 and 18, one of whom is said to have been seriously injured in the knee but his prognosis is not said to be life-threatening. The Liserons neighborhood is a sensitive area of ​​Nice. This is not the first shooting that has taken place there. In 2020, three people were shot and wounded. Checks are also carried out regularly for drug trafficking.
