Diouf and Mendy suspended

A central hinge to be recomposed! Cautioned Friday against Le Mans, Diouf and Mendy, who both already have six yellow cards, will be suspended for the reception of Nancy on January 10. Marcel and Ali Abdallah, for their part, are under threat of a third card synonymous with automatic suspension.

A starving attendance

The results are not there and the supporters, even less so. In front of Le Mans, Friday December 6, Nîmes Olympique recorded the worst attendance at the Antonins since the start of the season. The number of spectators recorded: 1,105. In total, 12,280 people attended the eight matches played at home, for a meager average of 1,535.

Lemaangr, the 27th man

A starter during the Coupe de France matches in Aimargues and Beaucaire, midfielder Abdallah Lemaangr made his first appearance of the season in the Championship on Friday, coming on for twenty-four minutes. This is the 27th player used by Adil Hermach.

And one, and two, and three, and four posts

There had already been Valenciennes (3rd day), Rouen (4th day) and Boulogne (10th day). In front of Le Mans, the Crocos were saved for the fourth time this season by one of their posts. They hit the woodwork twice.

Zakary Lamgahez Midi Libre – Mikaël Anisset

The return of Lamgahez

Zakary Lamgahez, as we know, preferred to sign his first professional contract at Le Mans rather than at Nîmes, tired of waiting to see the promises of the crocodile club come true. On Friday, the 21-year-old central defender was thrown onto the Antonins pitch in the second half by his coach, Patrick Videira. It was his sixth appearance of the season. Lamgahez was returning from an ankle injury.

“He's a top guy, with an impeccable state of mind. Even when he's not in the group, he's always behind his teammates, explains Patrick Videira, interviewed by Midi Libre. He brought us the values of Nîmes. He's never beaten and doesn't give up, he shows a lot of determination. If he hadn't been injured, he would have become an undisputed starter.”

The defense holds, the attack slips

For the sixth time this season, the second in a row at the Antonins, the Crocos failed to find the back of the net against Le Mans. Their results when they don't score: three defeats, three draws. Conversely, they kept their clean sheets for the sixth time this season, the fourth at home, ultimately obtaining three wins and three draws.

With only 9 goals scored, the Crocos have the worst attack in the National. With 12 goals conceded, they have the fourth best defense, tied with Nancy.
