Vincent Marcel received his fourth warning of the season against Nancy on Friday 10 January (1-2). The first two, received against Valenciennes (3rd matchday) and Concarneau (5th matchday), are no longer of consequence. But with those received against Le Mans (14th matchday) and, therefore, ASNL (16th matchday), the crocodile attacking midfielder now finds himself under threat of a third yellow card, synonymous with automatic suspension. He is the only player in this case.

Against Nancy (1-2), Friday, Issam Bouaoune delivered his fourth assist of the season. The first for a player other than Abdeldjelil. This time, it was Vincent Marcel who benefited from the 21-year-old attacking midfielder's offering.
Bouaoune is now one of the best passers in the National: he is on the third step of the podium, behind Benhattab (Aubagne, 6) and Sidibé (Nancy, 5), tied with Kielt (Concarneau), Epailly (Boulogne) and Vercruysse (Boulogne).
Three wins, three draws, three defeats, that's the Crocos' record at the Stade des Antonins, who have already dropped 15 points in front of their (meager) crowd. At home, it's the 9th record in the National.

Coming into play eleven minutes from the final, Marwane Hermach, brother of the Croco coach, made his first appearance in the National on Friday against Nancy. He is the 28th player used in the Championship since the start of the season.
This first appearance was marked by a… first expulsion since the 19-year-old midfielder received a straight red card following a tackle that was too hard on Cissé in added time (90th + 1).
This is the second Nîmes player to be sent off this season after Abdeldjelil, who was forced to leave the pitch, also in added time, after two warnings at Bourg-Péronnas (11th matchday, 2-1 defeat). Reminder: the red card given to Camara in the 90th + 2 against Sochaux (8th matchday, 1-1) was finally withdrawn from the crocodile striker.
Counter (finally) unlocked! Vincent Marcel scored his first goal of the season against Nancy. The former Orléanais, who also provided an assist (for Ali Abdallah against Versailles, 1-0, 6th day), is the fifth Croco to find the back of the net in the Championship after Abdelldjelil (6), Camara (2), Ali Abdallah (1) and Picouleau (1).
On Friday, Dabasse, who had come on twenty minutes earlier, scored Nancy's winning goal in the 86th minute (Lorraine's 7th goal out of 23 scored by a substitute, more than any other team). Since the start of the Championship, this is the fifth goal – and the fourth at home – conceded in the last quarter of an hour by the Crocodiles, or 33.33% of the total.
It is in the second half that Nîmes is the most vulnerable, with 10 goals conceded out of 15 (66.66% of the total).
Two players were missing from the call at La Bastide, this Monday, January 13, for the resumption of training: Sbaï and Beneddine. The first, like many of his teammates before him, was sick. The second one suffered from a pain in the groin.
Amara is still in the re-athleticization phase. This is also the case for goalkeeper Cozzella, who has resumed running and increases the length and intensity of his runs over the course of his outings, but who will not resume specific work before the beginning of February.
Nîmes Olympique's next opponent, FC Aubagne, will face… Nancy on Tuesday, January 14. A match of the 14th day won 4-0 by the Provençaux but given to replay due to the participation of a player from Aubagne, Ousseynou Ndiaye, who should not have qualified.
In the meantime, the promoted team occupies 12th place, with three points ahead of the Crocodiles with 5 wins, 3 draws and 6 defeats. At home, Aubagne has the 12th record in the National with 11 points collected (3 wins, 2 draws, 1 defeat).
FCA has a double particularity: it relies on the youngest starting eleven (25 years and 220 days on average) while having fielded the oldest player, Lamine Djaballah, 42, on three occasions.
