Recognizable à its atypical bell tower and &agrav; its southern Gothic style, the Notre-Dame-des-Anges church of Colliourewas built in 1684 following à the destruction ordered by Vauban in 1672 of the old Sainte-Marie church located in the center of the city. Its famous bell tower, added later, still serves as a reference point for sailors to enter the port.
