Nuit Blanche 2024: program, map and museums open in Paris

SLEEPLESS NIGHT. Lovers of art and culture, here is a Saturday evening that may please you. The 23rd edition of the Parisian event takes place this Saturday, June 1, 2024. Discover the program which highlights honor the so-called "ultramarine" territories.

[Mis à day May 31, 2024 à 2:27 p.m.] Here we go for the second spring edition of Nuit Blanche! The unmissable cultural event of Greater Paris is back this Saturday, June 1, 2024. Under the artistic direction of Claire Tancons, this 23rd edition of Nuit Blanche stands out beautiful in the creative abundance of overseas cultures, radiating across the capital and in around thirty communes in the Parisian suburbs.

On the program, around fifteen transdisciplinary projects combining contemporary art, music, theater, dance but also breakdance, skateboarding and fencing… Car Nuit blanche coincides with the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. The evening, free and open to all, all, will therefore combine culture and sport. To make the experience more enriching, don't forget to voluntarily get lost in the picturesque streets of the capital, known for its romantic charm and breathtaking architecture. The White Night offers a perfect opportunity to rediscover its hidden treasures under a new light. 

What is the schedule for Nuit Blanche in 2024 ?

Like every year, the cultural event is an opportunity for many artists to offer various installations and performances, each more spectacular than the last, in cultural spaces , streets and museums of the French capital. In Paris, you can discover, among others:

• From the Place de l'Hôtel de Ville à Place de la République, a collective stroll of skateboards; sound track entitled WÉLÉLÉ !!! is proposed by Guadeloupean artist Kenny Dunkan.
• The Belleville park will be taken over by the Parisian artist Laura Henno with the film Koropa shot in Paris. à  Mayotte, questioning migration issues.
• At the Carreau du Temple, the Guadeloupian violinist Romuald Grimbert-Barré and the Guyanese choreographer Johana Malédon will present a creation mixing dance, fencing and music, around the work of the Knight of Saint Georges, illustrious musician and fencer of Guadeloupe.
• Nearby from the chapel of the Piti hospital Salpetrière, Guyanese artist Tabita Rezaire will offer a monumental textile and video installation entitled The art of birth.&nbsp ;
• In the heart of the Butte Montmartre, place à a poetic performance by the Polynesian artist Orama Nigou and & the monumental pictorial installation and performance of Edgar Arceneaux.

• 59 RIVOLI (1st arrondissement) : the coolest squat ;lebre de Paris presents 6 éstories of artists'studios with unique practices, from 7 p.m. à midnight
• Bourse de Commerce (1st arrondissement) : Low Jack and Invernomuto&nbsp ;present Mangrovia, a hypnotic short film in the world of the Martinique mangrove, from 7 p.m. & midnight
• La Conciergerie (1st arrondissement) : exp&amp ;eacute;acoustic and sensory experience à the Salle des gens d'Armes by Assoukrou Aké, Vincent Cardoso, Bastien David, from 9 p.m. & 1h 
• Musée des Arts et Métiers (2nd arrondissement) :&nbsp ;the collective of Vues de l'Esprit and  the artist and researcher Ikse Maître presents The'&Eye of Soleil a monumental installation of our star, from 7 p.m. à 1h
• La Gaîté lyric (3rd arrondissement):  an intense cinematic experience in the 360 ​​degree room by artist Vergine Keaton and the COAL collective, from 7 p.m. & 3h
• Carreau du Temple (3rd arrondissement) : Saint- George in Movement(s): Virtuoso Knight, musical show with choreographic creation by Romuald Grimbert-Barré and Johana Malédon, mixing baroque music, contemporary dance and fencing in a musical and choreographic opus
• Théâtre de la Ville – Sarah Bernhardt (4th arrondissement) : I CAN('t) BREATHE by Jean-François Boclé, Julien Boclé and Thierry Pécou, contemporary show on the psychosomatic consequences of colonial trauma, &at 10:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m.< /strong>
• Musée du quai Branly Jacques Chirac (7th arrondissement): Magic of Creole tales in the gardens of the museum mixing dance and music, by Ronald Cyrille , à 8:30 p.m., 9:30 p.m., 10:30 p.m., 11:30 p.m.
• La Cinémathèfrançaise (12th arrondissement) : fabulous trip to his Méliès museum, from 7 p.m. à 11pm
