[Mis à day May 31, 2024 à 2:27 p.m.] Here we go for the second spring edition of Nuit Blanche! The unmissable cultural event of Greater Paris is back this Saturday, June 1, 2024. Under the artistic direction of Claire Tancons, this 23rd edition of Nuit Blanche stands out beautiful in the creative abundance of overseas cultures, radiating across the capital and in around thirty communes in the Parisian suburbs.
On the program, around fifteen transdisciplinary projects combining contemporary art, music, theater, dance but also breakdance, skateboarding and fencing… Car Nuit blanche coincides with the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. The evening, free and open to all, all, will therefore combine culture and sport. To make the experience more enriching, don't forget to voluntarily get lost in the picturesque streets of the capital, known for its romantic charm and breathtaking architecture. The White Night offers a perfect opportunity to rediscover its hidden treasures under a new light.
What is the schedule for Nuit Blanche in 2024 ?
Like every year, the cultural event is an opportunity for many artists to offer various installations and performances, each more spectacular than the last, in cultural spaces , streets and museums of the French capital. In Paris, you can discover, among others:
From the Place de l'Hôtel de Ville à Place de la République, a collective stroll of skateboards; sound track entitled WÉLÉLÉ !!! is proposed by Guadeloupean artist Kenny Dunkan.
The Belleville park will be taken over by the Parisian artist Laura Henno with the film Koropa shot in Paris. à Mayotte, questioning migration issues.
At the Carreau du Temple, the Guadeloupian violinist Romuald Grimbert-Barré and the Guyanese choreographer Johana Malédon will present a creation mixing dance, fencing and music, around the work of the Knight of Saint Georges, illustrious musician and fencer of Guadeloupe.
Nearby from the chapel of the Piti hospital Salpetrière, Guyanese artist Tabita Rezaire will offer a monumental textile and video installation entitled The art of birth.  ;
In the heart of the Butte Montmartre, place à a poetic performance by the Polynesian artist Orama Nigou and & the monumental pictorial installation and performance of Edgar Arceneaux.

This major manifestation of contemporary art à open sky à Paris has a metropolitan dimension, also investing in different municipalities of Greater Paris. The city of Rouen will also offer its Nuit Blanche through a performance inspired by the series "M&etaphore du Pyékoko" signed by Martinican artist Gwladys Gambie. Guadeloupe and Polynesia will make Nuit Blanche shine beyond oceans.
