NVIDIA announces its new SUPER graphics cards

After weeks of rumors and a few days of teasing, NVIDIA finally officially announces its new range of graphics cards! Absent from the last generation, it is the return of the name SUPER which sets this mid-generation renewal apart, still under the Ada Lovelace architecture.

A slew of graphics cards, which NVIDIA says “support more than 500 RTX games and applications and will prepare users for the wave of generative AI applications coming to PC.”

The GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER, the cheapest option of the lot

With 20% more cores than the 4070, this SUPER version is faster than a 3090 according to NVIDIA. This will consume less electricity than the high-end generation 30 card, which in our time is a real major concern at the moment.

It will come take the place of the 4070 Ti which will no longer be available, being sold for 659 euros from next Wednesday January 17.

The 4070 Ti Super, the best option for 1440p

With 4 GB more video memory than its little sister, the 4070 Ti is defined by the Santa Clara brand as the ideal graphics card for gaming at 1440pwith a screen having a refresh rate higher than 144 Hz. Still according to NVIDIA, it would be 1.6 times faster than the current 4070 Ti.

The 4070 Ti SUPER will not have a Founders Edition version offered by NVIDIA themselves, so you will have to go through other manufacturers such as ASUS, Colorful, Gainward, GALAX, GIGABYTE, INNO3D, KFA2, MSI, Palit, PNY and ZOTAC. This could increase the recommended public price of 889 euros, it will be available from January 24.

The most high-end with the 4080 SUPER

Of course, NVIDIA also offers the card that will make all PC Master Race players dream with its very high-end sound, the 4080 SUPER. An exceptional card which will benefit from a Founder Edition model. Obviously, this is dedicated to people who want the best gaming conditions, particularly in 4K.

Despite the fact that it is 1.4 times more powerful than a 3080 Ti, it remains the one that gains the least power compared to its big sister, the current 4080. In return, the price of this one loses 90 euros going from 1199 to 1109 euros, which is always welcome. It will be available on January 31.
