OnePlus 13: a first image for one of the most powerful smartphones in the world

Spread the love

A few images of the potential OnePlus 13 have emerged on the web. This new smartphone would be one of the first on the market to benefit from the most powerful Snapdragon chip in the world.

The year 2024 is coming to an end soon, but it seems that OnePlus still has one last card to play for its catalog of high-end smartphones. A few images of the alleged OnePlus 13 appeared on the net a few days ago and reveal a new design for the company's next phone with a large camera module and still the collaboration with camera manufacturer Hasselblad.

On the two photos already available, we can clearly recognize the two logos of OnePlus (1+) and Hasselblad (H) written on the back of the device. While the company's previous smartphones generally had a camera module attached to the edges of the phone, this does not seem to be the case for the OnePlus 13, whose camera seems to be simply “placed” on the faux leather back of the phone.

The OnePlus 13 has not been talked about much in terms of its technical characteristics, except for its power. According to several media outlets and OnePlus executives, the company's next high-end smartphone should be equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor. This is the latest chip from Qualcomm, which should power the majority of high-end smartphones coming in 2025. A first leak of the performance of this chip has notably placed it tops the best chips on the market, just behind the A18 Pro in the iPhone 16 Pro.

The OnePlus 13 is expected to be officially unveiled in China by the end of October. International versions are expected to be released in early 2025 if OnePlus sticks to its usual routine.
