The day after the 15th edition of the Open Occitanie, the Montpellier tournament is set for 2026 after the publication of next year's calendar by the ATP, this Monday, February 3. While the Marseille tournament will be postponed to later in the year, the Metz tournament disappears from the season.

As has been the case since 2012, the 2026 Open Occitanie will be the first tournament to take place immediately after the Australian Open. Next year, the 16th edition of the Montpellier tournament will therefore take place from February 2 to 8, 2026. It will be held at the same time as the first round of the Davis Cup qualifiers, as was the case in 2025.

Which did not prevent us from having a very good week at the Sud de France Arena, where the attendance record was again broken with 63,027 spectators present. With, as a highlight, a magnificent final won by Félix Auger-Aliassime against Aleksandar Kovacevic.

Metz disappears from the calendar

The Open Occitanie will only be one of the last two ATP 250 in France since the ATP has confirmed that the Moselle Open de Metz will no longer take place from 2026, due to legal proceedings between several shareholders of the tournament.

For its part, the Marseille Open 13 will have to change its habits. Normally scheduled shortly after the Montpellier tournament, the Marseille ATP 250 will change period in the year and will take place from October 19 to 25, 2026, between the Shanghai Masters 1000 and the ATP 500 in Basel and Vienna.
