Already made popular by his appearances on the small screen in the column of “Petit Journal” on Canal +, then the show Quotidien by Yann Barthès on TMC, the young Panayotis Pascot, from the end of his secondary studies, in sequences of man-in-the-street interviews, revealed the different aspects of a talent where impertinence, the culture of the unexpected, spontaneity and relevance were essential. In the street, at the entrance of a museum or in the aisles of the Salon de l'Agriculture, his exchanges with passers-by, visitors or breeders, he affirmed an obvious personality.

A journey from cinema to writing

On the big screen, from 2016 in François Desagnat's film “Adopte un veuf”, to these “Nouveaux riches”, a comedy by Julien Royal released in 2023 in which he appears in the cast, Panayotis Pascot confirms the range of his potential for the most diverse interpretations. Up to the desire to express on stage, with ease and a spirit of permanent analysis and observation, the daily life of each of us. And of him in particular. To, in another area, approach, as a therapy no doubt, writing. Hence the release, in mid-summer 2023, of “La prochain fois que tu mordras la poussière”, an autobiography which, sometimes with pain and always with emotion, addresses intimacy, relationships with the father, homosexuality or depressive states. An undeniable bookstore success manifest for several months, preceded by his first show, “Presque”. And, since last year, with his tour entitled “Entre les deux”, which regularly sells out, he shows the extent of an always surprising potential. Latest proof, the presentation and co-production, with Fary, last fall on Canal +, of the TV series of the game “Loups garous”.
