Pascal Bataille  “We must convey a message of optimism”

Coming to speak publicly about his cancer is a choice of Pascal Bataille. Çit is close to my heart because, when  we host There is only the truth who counts, it's hard not to be the one who first sets an example, he confided. The host later clarified that cancer is a “shameful disease that affects many people” before adding: “There are some that are more or less serious and I want to talk about them because I think we need to convey a message of optimism, of positivityé”. Suffering from cancer can be very scary and Pascal Bataille confides that he is aware that he is very well surrounded. “I’have high morale thunder”, he assures.

Thanks to the support of his loved ones, Pascal Bataille is ready to fight against this disease. “I am coping well with the treatment” , he says before adding: “I want to do a bit of judo with this disease too: I want, through what is happening to me, to be able to send a message about this cause that is close to my heart: Charcot's disease.” If the word “cancer” is quite taboo, Pascal Bataille does not want to be unable to express himself freely. He is aware that there are very aggressive forms with a dramatic outcome, but he wants to remain positive. “I am sure that çit will be fine” , he declared.

Pascal Bataille: this very precise protocol that he follows to treat his cancer

Facing Faustine Bollaert, Pascal Bataille opted for transparency. He then discusses his treatment, explaining that he has a “protocol that combines immunotherapy, a new technique that works well, and classic chemotherapy”. The sessions are quite intense and they “last five hours. I am sitting in an armchair in the middle of many other people who are going through the same misadventure as me, sometimes in unfortunately much more dramatic states,” he said. This treatment is very intense, with three sessions spaced three weeks apart. However, Pascal Bataille claims to support it.

Cancer treatments can be very difficult and the host is aware of how lucky he is to be able to follow it without too much difficulty. I can handle it very well, it's a privilege, it's a blessing”, he declared before revealing: “I escaped the side effects”. He also explains that it's thanks to medicine that he does not suffer from this treatment. Pascal Bataille mentions “medications that allowed me to have no side effects” and thus concentrate fully on his chemotherapy.
