14 million retirees will receive two transfers this month, one on February 3 and the other on February 7. Who is concerned and why retirees will benefit from two payments ?

A transfer on February 3

At the beginning of each month, nearly 14 million retirees affiliated to the Argic-Arrco supplementary scheme receive their supplementary pension. The beneficiaries are all former private sector employees receiving a pension from the National Old Age Insurance Fund (CNAV), the basic pension fund.

In addition to the basic pension, they receive a supplementary pension, paid “on the first working day of each month”. This year, February 1st falls on a Saturday, so the first working day is Monday, February 3rd, 2025, in accordance with the Agirc-Arrco 2025 calendar.

A second payment on the 7th

A second transfer, corresponding to the basic pension paid by the Cnav, will be paid on Friday, February 7th. Generally, this transfer is made every two months around the 9th. Unless this date falls on a weekend or a public holiday.

In this case, the payment will be made “on the 1st working day before or after”, specifies the Retirement Insurance on its website. Therefore, the transfer will be paid on Friday, February 7.

Retirees dependent on the Mutualité sociale agricole (MSA) will also receive their payment on the same day.
