Imprisoned in Bordeaux for unintentional injuries, Pierre Palmade will spend his next two years behind bars. Due to his notoriety, he is now a prisoner under surveillance.
On the set of C L’Hebdo, Saturday January 18, 2025, Wilfrid Fonck, national secretary of UFAP UNSA Justice, returned to the conditions of detention of the comedian. “Pierre Palmade has in addition to this isolated side of the rest of the penal population, this side where we have put what we call internally, special surveillance”, he begins by indicating.

Mediated facts, someone relatively fragile”, to avoid any risk of suicide. Aurélie Casse then indicates that this surveillance could weigh on her morale. “The procedures are what they are. From the moment we decree a special surveillance, we pass by every hour and it's like ça”, he decides.
But then Pierre Palmade saw a prison guard arrive one day, dressed in civilian clothes. Frightened, the comedian then called his relatives to tell them about this incident.
Present on the set of C L’Hebdo, Laurent Valdiguié, investigative journalist at Marianne, returned to this information: “Pierre Palmade was worried about it that same evening to his family on the phone. He was disturbed by this visit from a guard he doesn't know. That worried him because since he's been in prison, he's been in a routine (…) As he complained on the phone, that triggered a combat commotion in the prison administration”. It would therefore seem that Pierre Palmade is worried about his own safety. This is also the reason why he is so closely monitored.
These measures are also intended to protect him from other inmates who might want his life. Today, the former actor is a man who mobilizes 24/7 surveillance by the Bordeaux prison staff who do not want any incident to disrupt the detention of this somewhat special prisoner.
