The verdict has been reached, but the case continues to be talked about. On February 10, 2023, Pierre Palmade caused a car accident in Seine-et-Marne while he was under the influence of drugs, causing, among other things, the loss of his baby of a woman six months pregnant. This earned him a sentence, last November, to five years in prison, two of which were firm.
The comedian has been serving his sentence at Bordeaux-Gradignan prison for several weeks now. And it is even possible to have a little glimpse into his daily life… Indeed, one of the prison guards spoke exclusively to Voici. He did not hesitate to give some details on how Pierre Palmade behaves in prison, and on the routine he has adopted. According to the guard, the comedian keeps himself busy with three main activities: the elliptical trainer, the television and éwrite.

One way we can be for the former accolyte of Michèle Laroque to externalize his demons…Despite the difficult conditions of detention – all the more so in a prison which has 1097 inmates for 633 places available – Pierre Palmade still seems “to go well”.
Beside Voici, the guard emphasizes: “He seems to be fine, he doesn't complain. And apart from his cell which he never tidies, we have nothing to reproach him for. In our jargon, this is what we call a transparent inmate”. Transparent but VIP all the same since Pierre Palmade's celebrity has given him a special place within the prison. The comedian has in fact been placed in isolation in a secure area to avoid any incidents of his notoriety.
However, this does not prevent him from being on his guard. A few days ago, the comedian contacted his relatives following a visit from a plainclothes prison guard. Not knowing him, Pierre Palmade got scared and then complained about this unnecessary fright to those around him. Even under 24/7 surveillance, the worry is still very present for this somewhat unusual prisoner
