Since mid-December, Pierre Palmade has been imprisoned in the prison of Draguignan, near Bordeaux. Indeed, the comedian will serve two years of his life behind bars as part of his trial following his accident on February 10, 2023.

Since this terrible tragedy, his friends, notably Michèle Laroque, have distanced themselves from him. “He has a crazy talent but he hasn't solved his problems. Everything I had to tell him, I told him and I will continue”, had confided the actress to Paris Match.But would the actress feel like taking a step forward towards Pierre Palmade ?

And here she replayed “with François-Xavier Demaison the cult sketch of Driving License, written by Pierre Palmade for their successful show, Ils s’aiment. It would seem that Michèle Laroque has found the courage to replay this very famous show. Indeed, Pierre Palmade's friend has always been very close to the comedian. So when the tragedy happened, Michèle Laroque was overwhelmed by shock and fear: “There were ups and downs. I tried a lot of things, care advice, therapy. He really tried and I am a witness to that but we are all different. I tried to understand, which does not mean to excuse,” she confided, describing the accident caused by Pierre Palmade from “such a violent shock”.

The actress confided in her about what she felt:  “I wasn't angry, I was sad. Sad for him. […] I can't do anything about his life. He has a crazy talent but he hasn't resolved his problems,” she declared again.

And out of the question for Michèle Laroque to add to the controversy. It was important for her to say what was on her heart, but she never wanted to talk about this tragedy without thinking of the victims, three people from the same family who were seriously injured during this accident.
