The Pierre Palmade case is one of those that has been most discussed in recent months. While he was behind the wheel of his car in February 2023, the comedian caused a serious road accident that made headlines. A highly publicized case that Julia Courvoisier wanted to return to in the columns of Mariannethis Tuesday, December 17. The lawyer at the Paris bar deplores in particular the fact that this media coverage has generated unexpected interviews and confidences that took up too much space. “It was time to turn the page on the excesses, whether they come from certain journalists, certain lawyers, commentators but also from the general public”, she began.

What she also deplores ? The presence “of former lovers who will sell their sexual confidences to Cyril Hanouna on TPMP…”.

I was also aware of what I was doing, but as I was around him, I fell in certain excesses: more alcohol, touching and trying cocaine…”, he had notably affirmed. Jérémy Bellet had, subsequently, declared that Pierre Palmade éwas “a sad clown. But I always told him: 'drugs, cocaine, çit will kill you'”, he declared.
Pierre Palmade was sentenced to five years in prison, two of which are firm. He is serving his sentence in Bordeaux-Gradignan prison, in an isolation ward. A media personality, he is closely monitored on a daily basis. “ We have to make rounds every hour, day and night, because he is a priority for management”, a prison source said. Same story for his business, his telephone calls but also the mail he receives. The goal is to take the least risk and to ensure that he benefits from very close protection. Pierre Palmade has no contact with the other prisoners and he remains mainly in his isolated cell.
