The game "Pokémon Pocket" is available in France. Dé cover our tips to get the best cards quickly and progress in the game.
After several weeks of open beta in New Zealand, the mobile game “Pokémon Pocket” is available in France. This new title allows you to find many playing cards of your favorite Pokémon in order to collect them, show them to your friends or even challenge them during duels. Available on iOS and Android, “Pokemon Pocket” is full of tips for progressing and improving your player profile, your level and the cards you get.
Which booster to choose at the beginning of Pokémon Pocket ?
The first time you open “Pokémon Pocket”, the game allows you to open a few boosters to get started. The first two you open are fixed and guarantee you an EX card as well as an Alternative card depending on the booster you choose:
Pikachu Booster: an EX Arcanine and an ALT Squirtle
Charizard Booster: an EX Noadkoko and an ALT Salamèche
Mewtwo Booster: an EX Bonebreaker and an ALT Bulbasaur
To start playing competitively, we recommend choosing the Mewtwo booster which will give you very good cards to complete your first missions.

Each type of booster contains different cards that are not found in other types. A Moltres EX, for example, is only found in Charizard boosters.
Which boosters should you open first in Pokémon Pocket ?
If you want to get the best cards to make a competitive deck, it is rather recommended to open the Pikachu booster first and then the Mewtwo booster. The cards in the Pikachu booster will allow you to make a deck centered around the little mouse and electric-type Pokémon. This deck is easier to assemble than you might consider with Mewtwo or Charizard boosters and that's why we recommend prioritizing Pikachu boosters.
Be careful though, as many players choose to prioritize Pikachu for their first deck. It wouldn't be surprising if others would focus their strategy on countering Pikachu.

The Mewtwo booster is also very interesting to consider thanks to his cards like Articuno EX capable of hitting hard, fast and multiple targets.
Be careful though, this advice is only valid if you want to perform well in online duels. If your goal in "Pokémon Pocket" is to simply collect cards, you should not be satisfied with just one type of booster but open several depending on the cards you are looking to obtain.
How to open more boosters in Pokémon Pocket ?
The game “Pokémon Pocket" allows you to open 2 boosters each day. However, it is possible to open a 3rd booster if you subscribe to a Premium Pass subscription. The latter can be found in the game's store and costs 9.99 euros per month while granting you some bonuses and exclusive cards.
In order to open your boosters more quickly, it is possible to use a booster hourglass. Each hourglass reduces the time needed to opening a new booster. Using 12 hourglasses therefore allows you to directly open a new booster.
When you start, do not hesitate to look at the missions available at the bottom right of the screen. These will allow you to obtain multiple hourglasses to open more boosters. It is also recommended to visit the shop once a day to get free items, but also possible mail or gifts sent by the development team.
If you want to open more boosters, there aren't really too many options other than paying in-game or investing in missions. So go looking for cards to increase your collection and unlock new missions or go to online or solo battles to get hourglasses while increasing your player level.

What are the best cards in Pokémon Pocket ?
The question mainly depends on the deck you want to use in competitive battle. If you have a Water deck, Misty's trainer card can be great for generating energy for your Pokémon. For a deck that relies on Fire-type Pokémon, Moltres EX's card will go a long way in helping you get energy to launch your attacks.
Among the overall good cards, there are several items and trainers that are likely to be of interest to a good number of decks:
Poké Ball , allows you to take a Pokémon from your deck.
Professorial Research , allows you to draw two cards.
Potion , allows you to heal a Pokémon.
Giovanni , allows you to increase your Pokémon's damage.
Morgane , allows you to change your opponent's active Pokémon.
We particularly recommend that you complete the battle tutorials offered by the game. Some of them allow you to obtain some of these very interesting cards for your deck.
