Le jeune arrière talentueux de l’ASBH puise sa force dans sa capacité à se mettre au service du collectif. Ce vendredi 17 janvier, à Angoulême, il sera une nouvelle fois un des points forts de Béziers.

The man who is now the top try scorer in the Pro D2 championship, having dived twelve times in an in-goal area, is not giving up: if his team, which is going to Soyaux Angoulême this Friday (7 p.m.) is shining, it is above all thanks to an extraordinary character that makes him want to move mountains: “We have a pirate side, we go and get what is not given to us, underlines, all smiles, the Béziers full-back. Mentally, we have reached a new level. We know what we are capable of doing and what needs to be done to achieve it. This season, we have good depth on the bench that can allow us to make the difference and go further than the semi-finals.”

“When you give, you get a lot”

At the back, where he performs feats and masters his subject, Gabin Lorre never ceases to shine and give his all for the team. It is this way of being that makes him an exceptional and sought-after player, who will join Lyon next season : “I try to always be myself, while increasingly managing my own matches, concedes the full-back. I have to manage whether or not to try, not to overplay. I do my best to take the team as high as possible and offer the best farewell to Béziers. It would be an achievement to take this club to the final phase, to have a great season personally and collectively, before leaving for new horizons. In Angoulême, the young 23-year-old full-back will once again be a major asset for Béziers, who will have to fight to keep their heads above water against the in-form Angoumoisins, who are coming off a victory in Biarritz.
