A journalist from the CNet media has already been able to get his hands on the new console of Sony and deliver a first test on its performance.
If your dream is to be able to try the new PS5 Pro, a journalist has already made it come true for you. In the United States, the media CNet received an exclusive invitation to try out Sony's new console in advance. Even before the official announcement of the machine, journalist Scott Stein was able to spend several hours with the PS5 Pro to deliver his first impressions.
In his exclusive take on it, the journalist explains that he was able to spend several hours & test different titles on PS5 Pro. Among the games discussed, Scott Stein was able to try out the simulations F1 2024 and Gran Turismo 7, the adventure games Spider-Man 2 and Ratchet and Clank, as well as the RPG Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth that we were able to test when it was released.
200% Deposit Bonus up to €3,000 180% First Deposit Bonus up to $20,000Scott Stein says that his test of the PS5 Pro on F1 2024 allowed him to observe a better rendering of the ray tracing technology during rainy car races. The graphics were much more photorealistic than on the classic PS5 and this was particularly noticeable with the rain falling on the car in the game.
But the CNet journalist mainly mentions his Gran Turismo demo to praise the merits of the PS5 Pro. In his exclusive test, Scott Stein specifies: “Gran Turismo 7 was surely my most impressive demo since it added two other improvements: 8K quality gameplay and a large 80-inch screen (…) I was so absorbed by the rendering of the cars that I ended up crashing mine."
However, the journalist is well aware of the exorbitant price of the PS5 Pro (displayed at 799.99 euros in France). Scott Stein therefore indicates that this new version is not aimed at all gamers, but at those who have a large configuration compatible with the console. The journalist also thinks that the PS5 Pro is not particularly interesting for PS5 owners, but could be acquired by new users.
