Insulting chants were sung by a part of the Auteuil bend of the Parc des Princes and in particular by the Collectif ultras Paris (CUP) this Sunday, December 15 against the Lyonnais during the last match of the 15th day PSG-OL (3-1), which was interrupted for a few minutes in the second half.

At the end of the first half, insulting chants the Lyonnais came down for a few seconds from the Auteuil bend, forcing the stadium announcer to speak: “Please stop the insulting messages (…), otherwise the match could be stopped”, he declared into the microphone.

Others were sung in the second half, this time for at least five minutes, which led to the match being interrupted for a few minutes. In the 54th minute, Achraf Hakimi, captain on Sunday night, went to the foot of the stands to ask for the insulting chants to stop.

The match resumed a few minutes later, when a message was read again by the announcer and displayed on the big screen: “insulting chants are forbidden. The match could be stopped or lost”.

PSG already sanctioned

At the end of October, the capital club was sanctioned by the LFP disciplinary committee after homophobic chants were sung for about ten minutes by supporters of the Collectif Ultras Paris against the Marseillais during the reception of Strasbourg on October 19, eight days before the “classic” won (3-0) by PSG at the Vélodrome.

The club was ordered to partially close the Auteuil stand for a match, which was partly empty during the visit of Toulouse on November 22.
