RATP Traffic: Which Metro Stations Will Be Closed During the Paralympic Games ?

Several metro and tram stations are closed during the Paralympic Games. ; on the occasion of the Paris Paralympic Games. Here is the list of stations concerned during the entire period of the Olympic Games.

[Mis à day August 27, 2024 à 12:12] Throughout the period of the Paralympic Games held in Paris from Wednesday 28 August to Sunday 8 September 2024, public transport is disrupted with metro and tram stations still closed and lines overcrowded. “Due to the expected high traffic, on some lines and for some stations, you may have to wait more than 15 minutes to access the platform”, warns the government.

Line 1 of the Paris metro remains the most heavily impacted with three stations closed: Concorde, Tuileries and Champs-Elysées-Clémenceau, due to the various competitions held at the Grand Palais, Place de la Concorde or on the Esplanade des Invalides. At the same time, the transport offer has been increased by 10% on line 13, by 20% on line 8 and by 30% on the RER C between Paris and Versailles and on the RER D towards the Stade de France. In total, 13 lines will see their services strengthened (lines 1, 4, 8, 9, 10, 12, 13 and 14, RER B, C, D and E, and Transilien line P). Which metro stations are closed during the Paris Paralympic Games ?

  • Line 1: Concorde and Tuileries until September 1st. Champs-Elysées-Clémenceau until September 8th.
  • Line 8: Concorde until September 1st.
  • Line 12 : Concorde until September 21st.
  • Line 13 : Champs-Elysées-Clémenceau until September 21
  • T2: Porte de Versailles from August 29 to September 7.
  • : Porte de Versailles from August 29 to September 7.
  • T3b: Colette Besson from 29 August to September 8.
