Refusal to comply: caught consuming nitrous oxide, two Montpellier residents flee

The driver and passenger were taken into custody for questioning.

The events took place during the night of Friday to Saturday, January 11, in the Près d'Arènes district of Montpellier, where a crew of national police officers spotted two individuals consuming nitrous oxide in a vehicle.

They turn on their warning lights and make it clear that they want to check them. But the driver doesn't see it that way and flees.

Lost from sight by the police officers, he was finally spotted and arrested half an hour later, on avenue du Mas-d'Argeliers, in the same sector. The two accused were taken into custody. It should be noted that the reckless driver was driving despite having a suspended license.
