Retirement pensions: which fund could pay six times late this year ?

Some retirees will have to wait an extra day or two, six times this year.

One pension fund in particular will pay pensions late. 

The retirement pension payment schedule still has its share of late payments. This year 2025, Agirc-Arrco, the supplementary pension scheme for private sector employees, is planning up to 6 payment delays.

The supplementary scheme usually pays its pensions on the 1st of each month, but if that day falls on a weekend, there will be a delay.

In 2025, this additional period should occur 6 times. In January, pensions were transferred to retirees' accounts on the 2nd, January 1st being a public holiday. The same will apply in May, the 1st being Labor Day, explains the Mercipourlinfo website.

In February, March and November, they will be paid on the 3rd. And in June, on the 2nd instead of the 1st, which will be a Sunday.

Other funds such as the MSA or the Cnav pay retirement pensions on the 9th. As for those of the civil service, they are paid at the end of the month.
