In a robot vacuum cleaner market where the production of new models is more than intense , Roborock arrives with its QRevo Curv. While QRevo was a mid-range indication for us, the Chinese brand decided to ask the maximum price for its new robot. What is this new flagship of the Chinese brand ? Let's take a closer look at its features and performance.

Right out of the box, the QRevo Curv impresses. Its aesthetic with elegant curves contrasts with the often austere design of its competitors. The deep, rounded charging base evokes the character of Eve from WALL-E, a nod that will not fail to seduce fans of futuristic design.
The build quality is obvious. The finish of the materials is impeccable, and we particularly appreciate the design of the base. Access to the dust bag and bins is from the top, which is very practical while preserving the aesthetics.

You shouldn't be fooled by its refined appearance, The QRevo Curv hides a suction power of 18,500 Pa under its hood. It is therefore among the most efficient models on the market.
The main brush, called DuoDivide, plays a crucial role in this performance. Composed of two parallel rollers, the ingenious design limits the risk of tangling. Where the QRevo Curv's greatest feat lies is in its noise discretion. The robot has a noise level of only 55 dB. This acoustic performance allows the robot to be used at any time of the day or night, without fear of disturbing the household.

The QRevo Curv does not just vacuum, it also washes floors with its double rotating mop. Associated with a constant pressure system, it manages to remove rather stubborn stains. The addition of an extendable mop on the right side allows the robot to also reach as close as possible to the baseboards.

This is able to extend, offering a great capacity for adaptation. Thus, the Curv can even crossing thresholds up to 4 cm high, a feat that makes it the all-category champion of robotic agility.

Equipped with an obstacle recognition system called Reactive AI, it is able to identify and avoid 62 types of objects divided into 20 categories. This intelligence is manifested in its ability to map the home, what it does pretty well. As for avoiding obstacles, we'll come back to that point after the test.
The QRevo Curv's charging station promises a clean mops using water heated to 75°C. The station also incorporates an automatic cleaning module that uses rotating scrapers and hot water to clean its own base. This feature significantly reduces the need for manual maintenance, to the delight of users.
The application offers some rather original new features, such as the ability to make video calls via the robot or to locate your pets in the house. Functions that will reassure people working in the office and wanting to see what their dog or kittens are doing while they are away.

Despite its many qualities, the QRevo Curv is not without its flaws. Its high price, which places it at the top of the basket of robot vacuum cleaners, could put off more than one. The depth of its charging base, although justified by its innovative design, could pose problems of integration in certain interiors.
We can also regret that despite its advanced artificial intelligence, is unable to avoid cables or climb on bathroom scales. This reminds us that robot vacuum cleaner technology still has a lot of room for improvement.

The Roborock QRevo Curv is a good robot vacuum cleaner. It combines suction power, cleaning efficiency and quiet operation in a way that has never been seen before. Its elegant design and advanced features make it an excellent household appliance, especially for people with large thresholds to cross.
While we particularly appreciate the power/quiet ratio of Roborock's latest robot, we regret its price, which we consider excessive. Psychologically, I cannot accept a price of 1500 euros for a robot that still cannot identify when a cable is on the floor. Apart from these points, the Curv is one of the best robot vacuum cleaners of the moment.
