Le 3e ligne Cantin Foguet, 22 ans, et le pilier droit Adam Mountaga Bouaré, 20 ans, ont été prêtés au club nîmois, qui évolue en Nationale 2, jusqu’à la fin de saison.

Since last week, Cantin Foguet, a 22-year-old third row (1.93 m, 100 kg), and Adam Mountaga Bouaré, a 20-year-old right pillar (1.76 m, 113 kg), have joined the ranks of RC Nîmes.

Two hopefuls loaned until the end of the season by the MHR, who have come to “gain some experience and come up against a certain roughness in National 2”, according to the director of the Montpellier training center, Damien Florio.

Foguet, a solid third row

Cantin Foguet is a “big defender, strong on the man, gifted on aerial balls” who can play anywhere in the 3rd line. Player of the MHR hopefuls team, he is originally from Lunel where he started playing, within the RO Lunellois.

Trained at Montpellier Hérault Rugby since the youth categories, he climbed the ranks to play matches in Top 14 and Challenge Cup, notably against the South African Emirates Lions.

Mountaga Bouaré, a mobile right pillar

It is especially in the first row, a sector in difficulty, that the arrival of Adam Mountaga Bouare, who will be a starter on Saturday December 7, for the reception of Orléans (12th day of National 2), is expected. With a player “with strong technical potential that earned him selections in the French under-20 team”.

Born in 2004, he was trained at RCO Salagou, like Thomas Roche and Paul Torquebiau, before continuing his progression at MHR. Before crossing the Vidourle, he played with the Montpellier espoir team alongside former Nîmes players Julien Burguillos, Andréa Baldo and Nils Punti. He played one match in the Top 14 and has one selection in the French U18 team.

“These arrivals mark the continuity and strengthening of the partnership between the RCN and the MHR”, the Nîmes club is pleased to say.
