Samsung Gives Absolutely Must-Follow Advice to Improve Your Phone's Battery

A Samsung employee recently spoke out about the best way to save your phone battery.

Battery is one of the most important things consumers look at when they are looking to buy a new phone. The latest devices are packed with so many features that it is common for high-end smartphones to drain their battery quickly.

However, there are many ways to preserve the autonomy of a smartphone. But some obviously weigh more than others in the balance to the point that a Samsung executive recently spoke on discussion forums to give his own advice. This expert from the Korean brand first mentioned several already well-known techniques. This includes in particular the option to block the charging of your phone at 80% maximum, in order to preserve the longevity of its battery. It also mentions the brightness of the phone which should never be too high so as not to impact the autonomy of the device too much.

But amidst all these little habits to follow, the Samsung technician also confided what is, according to him, the biggest boost you can give, according to him, to your phone's battery. It is actually linked to your network. Many users leave the most energy-consuming communication network activated by default on their device when they don't necessarily need it.

5G networks in particular can consume much more energy than 4G networks, since they will tend to load larger amounts of data more quickly. However, it should be noted that, in general, many users are already accustomed to the performance of 4G networks and can be satisfied with it on a daily basis.

Wi-Fi can also be a good way to improve your phone's battery life. If you have a fairly shaky Wi-Fi network, your phone will constantly switch between it and your mobile network, which will put more strain on it. So stick to your 4G.

This is also why it is recommended to stick to 4G networks when possible and you want to save battery. To do this, simply go to the “settings” application on your phone. Find the “connection” section > “mobile networks” and “network mode”, where you can choose to use only 4G and 3G data. QED.
