As reported by our colleagues at Android Authority, this work was revealed by Hon Pak, senior vice president at Samsung, during a forum on Samsung Health. “What really excites me is that our team, as you may have guessed, is working on an optical-based, non-invasive continuous glucose monitor. I can’t tell you when it’s going to launch, but I’m very excited about the progress we’re making and if we can do that, it’s going to be a game changer,” he reportedly said, according to Android Authority.

Is Samsung Confident? ?

For the moment, we do not know when this technology will be available on Samsung smartwatches. But the manufacturer's research is now sufficiently advanced that it has allowed itself to speak about it publicly.
