Samsung’s next high-end smartphone is already making headlines. Credible information has just emerged about the S25. A leak from a customer survey conducted in Vietnam reveals that the Korean giant is preparing a particularly early launch for its Galaxy S25 series.
Samsung is shaking up its habits. Traditionally scheduled for late January or mid-February, Galaxy S series launches could see a major change. The mentioned customer survey promises a 10% discount to participants specifically for January 5, 2025. This date is not insignificant and suggests an official presentation during a Galaxy Unpacked event that day.
This timing is part of a trend of accelerated releases at Samsung. As a reminder, the S24 was presented on January 17, 2024, and the S23 on February 17, 2023. This strategy could allow Samsung to dominate the premium smartphone market from the beginning of the year, even before the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.

Samsung is clearly preparing a significant overhaul of its range. The Ultra model should benefit from a redesigned design, with a rounded frame at the back while retaining straight edges at the front. This evolution marks an aesthetic break with previous generations.
The big news lies in the potential arrival of a fourth model: the Galaxy S25 Slim. This new version could join the range a few months after the initial launch, thus expanding Samsung's offering in the premium segment.
On the technical side, Samsung is not skimping on the means. The S25 series should include the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor on all models. This standardization of the chip represents a notable change in Samsung's strategy, which until now alternated between Exynos and Qualcomm processors depending on the region.
The specs are expected to be impressive with up to 16GB of RAM, optimized for AI features. The S25 Ultra is expected to retain its generous 5,000mAh battery, ensuring comfortable battery life. The smartphone will run Android 15 with the One UI 7 overlay, promising an enriched user experience.
