School holidays 2025: the complete calendar of the different holiday periods for the coming year

When are the next holidays ? As students return to school on Monday, January 6, Midi Libre takes stock of the different holiday periods planned for 2025.

What do the different zones correspond to? ?

In zone A, we find the academies of Besançon, Bordeaux, Clermont-Ferrand, Dijon, Grenoble, Limoges and Poitiers.

In zone B, we find the academies of Aix-Marseille, Amiens, Caen, Lille, Nancy-Metz, Nantes, Nice, Orléans-Tours, Reims, Rennes, Rouen and Strasbourg.

The academies of Créteil, Montpellier, Paris, Toulouse and Versailles are in zone C. Corsican students also have their holidays at the same time as those in zone C.

What are the dates of the 2025 winter holidays ?

First in date, the 2025 winter holidays. They begin on February 8 for zone B, and end on February 24. In zone C, they begin a week later, from February 15 to March 3. Zone A closes the show with holidays from February 22 to March 10.

What are the dates of the 2025 spring holidays ?

For Easter, the same order is kept. Students in zone B will be on vacation from April 5 to 22, those in zone C from April 12 to 28, and those in zone A from April 19 to May 5.

Please note that no students will have classes on Friday, May 30, due to the Ascension Day holiday.

What are the dates of the 2025 summer vacations? ?

For everyone, the school year will end on July 5. Students will enjoy a long vacation until Monday, September 1st.

What are the dates of the All Saints' Day vacation in 2025 ?

For All Saints' Day, the dates are the same for everyone. In 2025, the vacation is scheduled from October 18 to November 3.

What are the dates of the next Christmas vacation ?

Same dates for everyone also for the next Christmas vacation which will take place from December 20 to January 6, 2026.
