&On the occasion of the release of her autobiography, Bambou, Serge Gainsbourg's former partner, confides in Paris Match about her life in the house bought by the singer.

For the first time, Bambou is releasing an autobiographical book entitled *Pas à pas dans la nuit* (Éd. Xo). The one who was the last companionby Serge Gainsbourg confides without taboo about the sufferings of his childhood, about his meeting with the man who was nicknamed the man with the cabbage head or even about drugs, which marked his youth.
The former model, now aged 65, also returns to motherhood and the arrival of her son, Lulu, in 1986. A birth that would put an end to years of opium and heroin use.

In the columns of Paris Match, Bambou opens up heartedly. She reveals that she has not rebuilt her life. “I tried, I madea few attempts , but I knew it wouldn't work not and ça n'a not market. It's difficult to arrive after Serge”, she said esteemed by our colleagues.

” It's an exact copy, mahogany and black, more cozy and small. A small house with floors with balconies, stairs and a small courtyard. Serge said it was his country house. We saw each other every day, but we were in transit non-stop. I still live there”, explained Bambou, usually secretive about her private life.
Serge Gainsbourg: the house on rue de Verneuil turned into a museum
While she raised her son Lulu in this charming little home, Bambou regularly came to Serge Gainsbourg's house, located on rue de Verneuil in the 7th arrondissement of Paris. An address that became a museum under the impetus of the artist's daughter, Charlotte Gainsbourg.
“It wasimportant for Charlotte, because she was dragging tons behind her. I'm therewent three times. We have the impression that Serge will appearîto be. After his death, we came back a few times with Lulu because he wanted to go sleep there“, she recounted with emotion. Opened in September 2023, Serge Gainsbourg's house contains a treasure trove of memories. With its bar and instruments, the place hasn't changed much since the artist's death 35 years ago.
