The Alès-Cévennes hospital center is temporarily reorganizing the reception and admissions of the public to the Emergency Department. It announces the implementation of new regulations on three time slots starting December 21. This change in the system is the consequence of “insufficient medical staff” and “despite efforts to find replacement doctors.”

Three periods of regulation during the Christmas holidays

The Chac emergency room will therefore be regulated:

From Saturday, December 21, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. to Sunday, December 22 at 06:30.

From Sunday, December 22, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. to Monday, December 23 at 6:30 a.m.

From Thursday, December 26, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. to Friday, December 27 at 6:30 a.m.

The service maintains a hotline for pregnant women and gynecological emergencies. The establishment recommends that residents of the Bassin dial 15 before going to the hospital. He recalls that all arrivals will be taken into account and examined, and that the patient will possibly be redirected to other establishments. Vital emergencies will continue to be provided by the Alès Mobile Emergency Resuscitation Service (SMUR) 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
