Severance: what awaits us for season 2 of this excellent series

It’s an understatement to say that season 1 of Severance left its mark. The series made everyone agree with its originality, its quality of writing, and the impeccable performance of its actors. So much so that the sequel to this original Apple TV+ creation is impatiently awaited by fans. Here's everything we already know about season 2.

What will the story be?

Dan Erickson has now already confided on this subject. He explains thus:

In the second season, we're going to show all these people outside. Like Mark, they all have their own reason for undergoing this procedure, and they are all at some stage in the healing process for one thing or another (…) Seeing the other three characters' version of this dichotomy is, I think, the most exciting part.

Ben Stiller for his part clarified: “He There's this growing connection between Mark and Helly over the course of the season, and then outside, Mark is trying to get over the death of his wife… and then we will discover that his wife is still alive.”

We won't know any more about him moment, but it's already not bad. It would indeed be a shame to spoil this fiction which often reveals real surprises.

An unchanged cast ?

According to our colleagues at TV Insider, the main cast should remain almost the same. We will thus have the pleasure of meeting Adam Scott (The Good Place) as Mark, and Britt Lower (Unforgettable) as Helly. Alongside them, we note the presence of John Turturro (The Batman), Patricia Arquette (Boardwalk Empire), Christopher Walken (Sleepy Hollow), Tramell Tillman (Hunters), and Zack Cherry ( Succession).

As a reminder, Severance makes us follow the adventures of Mark Scout, employee of Lumon Industries, a Tech company that works on very confidential projects. They are so sensitive that each employee must undergo surgery to separate memories linked to their private and professional lives.

When will the series be released? ;?
