A 20-year-old woman died this Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at the Longjumeau hospital in Essonne. An autopsy is to take place this Friday.

She was admitted to the Longjumeau emergency room on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at around 8:30 a.m., “standing, on her two legs” according to the director of the North Essonne hospital group, Cédric Lussiez, quoted by BFM.

The 20-year-old young woman suffered from an illness that medical confidentiality does not allow to be revealed.

Given her condition, it is decided to transfer her to another hospital, where she is usually treated and where a bed is reserved for her.

Before her transfer, the patient was scheduled to undergo a CT scan. It was around 4 p.m. when her condition suddenly deteriorated.

Internal investigation in progress
