Good humor and relaxation are on the program of Grosses Têtes every afternoon on RTL. For two and a half hours, Laurent Ruquier brings together his members to answer a series of questions and quotes without any hassle. If the atmosphere is good-natured, it is not unusual to hear a few barbs, even a few clashes between personalities who tease each other. This was the case this Monday, February 3.
Around the table: Arielle Dombasle and Marcela Iacub. And it is the Spanish alphabet that has sparked a quarrelschoolyard between the two women, the two Latinas from the daily show that is a hit on RTL.

Both members have a perfect command of Spanish. Well, almost… because it seems that Bernard Henri-Lévy's wife has forgotten some fundamentals of the language that 500 million people around the world speak. The reason: the letter 'x'.
While Arielle Dombasle considered that this letter was a vowel in Spanish, her table neighbor claimed that it was a consomme. An exchange that gave food for thought to the other members present in the studio. “They hate each other, the two fishmongers”, said Laurent Baffie. “She wasn't educated Arielle“, insisted the ex-sniper from Tout le monde en parle on France 2. “We're not on Radio Latina, those two!”, Florian Gazan added. An exchange that quickly ended in pudding water.
Amused by the situation, Laurent Ruquier asked Arielle Dombasle to quote the vowels in Spanish. Except that the former revue leader made a mistake, forgetting the 'u'. It didn't take more for Marcela Iacub to rise to the occasion. “She doesn't even know the vowels!“, the Franco-Argentine essayist pointed out.
A bit embarrassed, Arielle Dombasle felt that she had made a pronunciation mistake, minimizing her error. But while the situation could have had no consequences on the progress of the show, it made Marcela Iacub jump and amused a lot the members. “It feels like a shitty telenovela”, said Florian Gazan, witness to this nice little exchange of words!
