Last May, Sonia Mabrouk announced to viewers her temporary departure from CNews. The journalist decided to take a breakfor an important event. With her partner, she became the mother of her first child at the age of 46.

“I am a big spender of love.“ confides Sonia Mabrouk to Jordan de Luxe. “If it's for my family and friends, I'll give everything.” And on Instagram, the journalist shared a photo with her baby.

Sonia Mabrouk: a fulfilled mother

On her Instagram account, Sonia Mabrouk shared a photo of herself and her baby in his arms. She took the opportunity to send a message to her deceased mother. “Every hour, day, year is a terrible wound, Mom. Your absence is a bottomless abyss.” she explains before talking about her daughter, Soraya. “This year, I finally received a magnificent love letter from above. On this sacred letter, the name has not changed: Soraya, the address either … but it's a new little being who has everything of you.”

She then shared her wishes with her followers. “Happy New Year to all despite the trials and doubts. A year that I wish will be full of love and hope.“But who is the father of her son ? A famous person ? “For me yes, but not for the general public.” she says. “She is not known, but for me çshe remains a personality.” Jordan de Luxe mentioned the singer's rumors: Pascal Obispo. “I'm not going to, every time I'm photographed with someone, have to explain that I'm not in a relationship with that person.”

The journalist talks about his mother who passed away

Sonia Mabrouk is happy to finally be the mother of a daughter. “It's a gift from heaven. You mentioned the age, it's even more of a gift from heaven when you have expected it for a long time (…) I hoped for a while and then it happened.” Her only sadness ? That her grandmother was not able to know her granddaughter. In fact, her mother died in October 2022.

On July 26, 2024, Sonia Mabrouk gave birth to a little girl named Soraya. “She's a child desiredé for so long. I believe in the hand of the invisible. Some people will say that my mother helped me. I like y believe. I like this magic there (…) &At the time, you become a mother but there grandmother is not there while the great-grandmother is there.” the journalist saddens. “My mom leftbrutally.
